In 1994, it was decided that a new corporate image would be necessary in order to make further progress in the 21st century, and so DENSO Philosophy was established, encompassing DENSO Creed and the Basic Policies on Corporate Conduct and expressed in simple, modern language. It consists of the forever unchanging origins of DENSO (its company creed) and its code of conduct.

DENSO believes that a company exists not simply to pursue profits, but also to provide beneficial value to society, and that it is only allowed to continue if it can fully meet society’s expectations and earn its trust.
To ensure awareness of this idea at all times, DENSO Philosophy is a concise expression of what the company wants to be, and is comprised of three components: Mission, Management Principles, and Individual Spirit, which provide direction for the company.
