J-Works Parts Sales (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. established
In August 2004, demand for aftermarket products expanded as the Chinese automotive market grew. To quickly establish a business management structure, DENSO acquired J-Works Parts Sales (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “JWCH”) as a wholly owned subsidiary, thereby expanding its distributors and product lineup and further increasing sales in the Chinese market. Under the JWCH umbrella was the sub-brand “J-Works”, which was able to meet the diverse needs of various customers. The J in the logo “J-Works” stands for Japan, and Works represents the products made by first-class craftsmen who put their heart and soul into their work. The Beijing office opened in September of the same year, followed by the Beijing Branch in January 2007.
In 2011, JWCH reformed its organizational structure. After the change in ownership, DENSO (China) Investment (hereinafter, “DICH”) became the largest investor, and post-reform JWCH received greater support from DENSO.
In January 2014, JWCH held its 10th anniversary celebration, and at the same time held its “10 years Walking and Shining Together - J-Works Series 2014 Dealer Conference”. In February that year, amid the ongoing development of e-commerce sales channels, the T-Mall DENSO flagship store and J-Works brand flagship store started service simultaneously.
In December 2019, J-Works Parts Sales (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (JWCH) changed its name to DENSO Auto Parts (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (DSCH). In October 2022, for the expansion of its retail business, it integrated with DICH.
