5. DENSO FA Shanghai Co., Ltd. established

In 1995, the Vanguard Group from the US established Shanghai Pioneer Speakers Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “SPS”) as a production base in Asia. In 2004, SPS built a new factory for factory automation (FA), and its FA Production Department began operations. In March 2020, DENSO FA Shanghai Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “DNFS”) was established, wholly owned by DENSO, and in June that year, SPS transferred its FA business to DNFS, which officially began operations.

DNFS aims to become the top equipment and system integrator, combining Japanese quality with the technology and experience it has gained since entering China in 2004 to provide the best production system solutions from the customer’s perspective. The purpose of developing business in Shanghai was to better satisfy Japanese customers’ interest in procuring locally in China. As a total technology company that covers design, manufacturing, and after-sales service, DNFS provides excellent and unparalleled FA systems to meet customer needs.
