1973	Feb NIPPONDENSO EUROPE B.V. was established in Amsterdam, Netherlands. [9th]
1975	NIPPONDENSO EUROPE opened first warehouse in Pampuslaan165, Weesp to start distributing products.
1980	NIPPONDENSO EUROPE opened second warehouse in Gemeenschapspolderweg, Weesp to handle expansion of the sales.
1984	Jan An engineering and testing facility for air conditioning systems is opened in Munich, Germany with the name NIPPONDENSO (Deutschland) GmbH. [1st] Jan DENSO Sales UK Ltd. was established. [1st]
1985	Jun A sales office was established in Paris, France. [1st]
1986	Feb A sales office was established in Milan, Italy. [1st]
1988	Remanufacturing activities start in Europe with starters and alternators for Toyota
1989	Jun Establishment of DENSO Barcelona, the first manufacturing company in Europe. The Spanish facility started producing ignition coils. It was a joint venture with Valeo. [14th] Nov Acquired DENSO Marston Ltd. [2nd]
1990	Jan NIPPONDENSO (FRANCE) S.R.L. was established in Milan, Italy. [1st] Aug Establishment of NDM Manufacturing Ltd, UK as a joint venture with Magneti Marelli SpA, Italy. [21st] Oct Acquired 25% of Magneti Marelli Climatizzazione [22nd] NIPPONDENSO EUROPE opened new office and warehouse in Hogeweyselaan 165, Weesp.
1991	May NIPPONDENSO INTERNATIONAL EUROPE B.V. was established. [31st] DNBA started powertrain production
1993	DNBA started electronic production
1994	An engineering and testing facility for air conditioning systems is opened in Eching, Munich, Germany.
1995	Jan DENSO AUTOMOTIVE FRANCE S.A.R.L. was established. [1st] NIPPONDENSO EUROPE expand and reconstruct office and warehouse in Hogeweyselaan 165, Weesp.
1996	Aug Changed name to DENSO EUROPE B.V. [1st]
1997	Jul DENSO Manufacturing Hungary Ltd was established. [15th] DNBA expanded electronic plant
1998	Jan A sales and engineering office in Gothenburg, Sweden, DENSO Sales Sweden was established. [22nd] Sep Deutsche Klimakompressor GbmH was established in Germany to produce compressors and magnetic clutches. [11th] Sales office Wolfsburg, Germany was opened.
1999	Acquired 80 percent of the shares of the Rotating Machines Division of Magneti Marelli SpA, Italy. This brought DENSO Manufacturing Italia S.p.A. located in San Salvo, Italy into the DENSO Organisation. Acquired DENSO Manufacturing Midlands Ltd.
2000	Mar Established DENSO Sales Belgium to provide sales and project management support to Toyota Motor Manufacturing Europe. [20th] Jun DENSO European website was launched.
2001	Mar Acquires full ownership of the Company that adopts the name DENSO Thermal Systems S.p.A.. [30th] Mar Acquired João de Deus & Filhos, S.A. [30th] Jul DENSO Manufacturing Czech s.r.o at a greenfield site in Liberec, Czech Republic. was established. [12th] Dec DENSO THERMAL SYSTEMS POLSKA was established. [6th] Acquisition of the Climate Control Equipment Division of Magneti Marelli SpA, Italy. This acquisition brought a number of new group companies into the DENSO Corporation including João de Deus & Filhos S.A. located in Lisbon, Portugal. Sales office Leinfelden Echterdingen, Germany was opened. Sales office Frankfurt, Germany was opened.
2002	Jan LIPLASTEC s.r.o. was established. Jul DENSO OTOMOTIV PARCALARI SANAYI A.S. was established. [11th] Aug DENSO AIR SYSTEMS CZECH s.r.o. was established. DENSO Thermal Systems opened a new production company in Turkey, DENSO Otomotiv Parcalari Sanayi A.S. was established near to Istanbul. Sales office Cologne, Germany was opened.
2003	DENSO Manufacturing Hungary becomes the first zero emission production facility outside of Japan reducing its waste to landfill to zero.
2004	Feb DENSO CZECH s.r.o. was established [13th] May DMCZ officially opens its operation with a ceremony led by Prime Minister Vladimír Špidla. [17th] Jun DENSO SISTEMAS TERMICOS ESPANA S.A was established. [19th] DENSO Manufacturing Hungary receives the European Commission’s Business Award for the Environment, making it the first automotive company to be recognised for its environmental management activities in Europe.
2005	Apr Opening of an engineering and testing facility for diesel engine components in Aachen, Germany. This milestone marks the company’s first diesel development centre outside Japan. [1st] May President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus visits DMCZ. The company is introduced to him in the phase of launching other projects and continuing recruitment of new employees. [20th]
2006	DENSO Thermal Systems established a production company in Vigo, Spain called DENSO Sistemas Termicos Espana S.A., to produce HVAC and engine cooling products. DENSO starts air conditioning compressor repair business in Europe.
2007	DENSO Otomotiv Parcalari Sanayi A.S. moved to its current location in Kocaeli where it produces HVAC and ECM products.
2008	Consolidates its EU manufacturing operations of starters and alternators resulting in the closure of operations at DENSO Manufacturing Midlands in the UK.
2009	Aug DENSO Sales Russia established in Moscow. This office specifically handles the sales and marketing of Aftermarket products [20th] DENSO Manufacturing UK Limited wins a “Green Globe” National Environmental Award for its waste reduction programme.
2010	Apr DENSO Thermal Systems Morocco established in Tangiers. This second production base on the African continent produces car air conditioning systems. [24th] DENSO expands its Aftermarket business in Europe with the acquisition of CTR s.r.l. an Aftermarket business in Italy, France and Spain
2011	Aachen Engineering Centre in Germany receives a government award recognizing its research and development expansion.
2013	May DENSO POLAND sp.zoo. was established. [6th]
2015	DNBA Expansion: Centres of T&D, R&D, MNT, LABS. Reception, Main entrance and canteen.
2016	Feb DMCZ organized the Opening Ceremony of the newly built part of the production hall, which extended the existing plant area by 46,900 m2 further 8,400 m2. [1st] Mar DENSO ADAS Engineering Services GmbH (DNAE) was established to further strengthen technical advances for state-of-the-art camera based algorithm development. [15th]
2017	Sep DENSO AIR SYSTEMS CZECH s.r.o. (ASCZ) became a subsidiary of DMCZ
2018	Apr DENSO MANUFACTURING CZECH s.r.o. (DMCZ) and DENSO AIR SYSTEMS CZECH s.r.o. (ASCZ) announced that they have decided to join forces and form a stronger business partnership to strengthen their business activities in the Czech Republic. [1st] Apr The full merger of the companies took place on the basis of the merger by merger project. ASCZ ceased to exist on that date. [1st] Apr Further expansion of the DMCZ plant started in April 2017 and was completed on 23.04.2018. The reason for the new extension is to increase the production of Heater Cor, which involves the installation of a second Heater Cor line. The total area of the added area is 6,400 ㎡ [23th] Oct DNEU's function of regional headquarters was transferred to DIEU [1st]
