DENSO in Republic of Korea
From Poongsung to DENSO Korea
When it was established in 1948, the company now known as DENSO Korea was known as Poongsung Industrial. 20 years later, it changed its name to Poongsung electrical (Ltd.) (now DENSO Korea Automotive), and in 1976 it merged with Nippon DENSO Co. (Ltd.) to establish Poongsung Precision Co., Ltd. (now DENSO Korea Electronics). In 1997, DENSO Sales Korea was established in Seoul (now DENSO International Korea).
2,300 employees in five sites
Responding to the customers' needs and sudden changes in the market
All employees at DENSO Korea take the wishes of the customer very seriously. DENSO, formerly an industrial company, now has five different sites throughout Korea to keep close to its customers, and to keep them happy by improving safety and convenience while responding to the needs of both the ever-changing car industry and the environment.

Ensuring quality by training its functional employees
By operating a manufacturing training center, DENSO hopes to turn each and every functional employee into a manufacturer who can think for themselves, and in doing so improve quality at each facility. We are working hard to create a sense of energy and liveliness at all our sites.
