DENSO Automotive UK Attains Gold Status with Thrive at Work Accreditation

Coventry, UK – DENSO Automotive UK (DNUK) proudly announces its Thrive at Work Gold accreditation, making it the first organization in the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) to reach this prestigious milestone.

Initiated by Coventry City Council, the Thrive at Work program offers accreditation to organizations that enhance employee health and well-being. Since starting this journey in 2022, DNUK has shown significant commitment, successfully progressing through the Foundation, Bronze, Silver, and now Gold levels of accreditation in just two years, highlighting its dedication to creating a workplace where every colleague can thrive.

Richard Parker, the Mayor of the West Midlands, Dr. Julie Nugent, the Coventry City Council Chief Executive, and Thrive at Work Assessor Jenny Duggan recently visited DNUK on two separate occasions to present their Gold Accreditation. "DENSO Automotive’s Gold Accreditation proves that when businesses invest in their people, they don’t just create better workplaces – they boost productivity, morale, and resilience. I’m calling on more employers to get on board and make the West Midlands a leader in workplace well-being", stated Parker.

Michelle Evans, HR Manager at DNUK, expressed gratitude for the unwavering support and commitment of the entire team, “This Gold accreditation is a reflection of the collective dedication to creating a healthier, happier workplace. The journey started with the Foundation Level accreditation in April 2022, then swiftly advanced to Bronze in August 2022 and Silver in April 2023. Each achievement represents a milestone and a dedication to enhancing workplace culture. Jenny Duggan, Thrive at Work Assessor, referred to DNUK’s culture as “a big family," emphasizing the close bonds among colleagues and a supportive environment that fosters conversations about well-being.
