As our parts are utilized in automobiles all around the world, we are actively aware of the important responsibility we have for protecting earth’s environment.
DENSO has throughout its history developed and used the latest technologies and talent, to reduce our negative environmental impact to the greatest extent possible.
To concretely express our commitment toward the continuous improvement of our Earth’s health, DENSO has created ECO VISION 2025, an action plan with concrete and measurable goals. Through our production innovation, we aim to halve energy consumption in production processes.
We will dramatically conserve energy used in production; our group commitment is to halve energy use (CO₂ emissions by 1/2).
We will attain high efficiency production through ‘Monozukuri’ innovation. Our comprehensive energy conservation plan will strictly track energy flow from supply to use to effectively control changing needs in energy requirements. We call this ENE-JIT, short for Energy Just In Time.

materials used in product development.
By reducing to the absolute minimum the amount of toxic materials used in production, we will improve the sense of safety and security to society.
By reading the regulatory trends of various nations and regions, we will lead the shift away from environmentally hazardous materials. In addition, by rigorous management of the supply chain, we will optimize the use of ecologically friendly materials.

We endeavor to recycle all resources, reduce the amount of water used, and minimize the volume of waste and chemical emissions.
We will use raw resources efficiently, developing factories that contribute directly to a recycling-oriented society.
By implementing 1/N equipment, we can reduce water consumption and improve recycling capabilities to reduce waste output. We call this Zero Emission Advance. To reduce harmful emissions in production, we will utilize technological advances in detoxification and handling of dangerous chemicals.
