DENSO MANUFACTURING CZECH s.r.o. was established on 12th July 2001 by its Japanese parent company in order to get closer to its European customers and to react to the growing market of car air conditioners. It was decided to build the production plant in the Industrial Zone South in Liberec, in the location which best fulfilled its strategic criteria. The advantages of Liberec, a city with a population of approximately one hundred thousand, are its link to the international highway as well as local Technical University and its long tradition of an engineering industry. DENSO in Liberec participates in local activities on regular basis.

DENSO MANUFACTURING CZECH s.r.o. (DMCZ) and DENSO AIR SYSTEMS CZECH s.r.o. (ASCZ) took the next step in merging and strengthening their business operations in the Czech Republic. Both companies are based in the Industrial Zone South in Liberec.

ASCZ became DMCZ’s subsidiary in September 2017 and both companies will officially merge on 1 April 2018. On the same date ASCZ will cease to exist. Merger of both companies will allow for reduction of operating costs, increase of operating capacity and improvement of management efficiency.
