3rd Manufacturing Unit Establishment in North
1998 - DENSO started another new company named DENSO Haryana Pvt. Ltd. in Manesar (Haryana).
Back in 1996 - DENSO in India undertook Engine management system comprising of electronic fuel injection system, electronic control unit, airflow meter, vacuum sensor, coolant temperature sensor, oxygen sensor, throttle body, fuel injector, fuel pump etc. The company proposed to set up new facilities to meet higher projected customer, modernization, and indigenization needs.
- So, in 1998, DENSO acquired 25 acres of land located in Gurgaon, for this purpose and in 1999 Established 3rd manufacturing unit DENSO Haryana Pvt. Ltd., which was the first 100% subsidiary of DENSO Corp.
1998, DNHA acquired a business license, and with Conclusion of Technology Transfer Agreement with DNJP, setup to support and cater North based 4-wheeler manufacturers like MARUTI SUZUKI Pvt. Ltd.
- Main products manufactured are Power train Products (Fuel Pump, Injector, E/G ECU, ISCV), Small motor, ECM.
- First shipment of F/P to MSIL (16th March 2000), and first shipment of ECU to MSIL (29th March 2000)

2001 January, Grand Opening Ceremony of DENSO Haryana Pvt. Ltd. as a formal launch organized, attended by Haryana Chief Minister and Okabe san President, DENSO Corporation.
2001, Setting up Injector needle & holder line in July, and in October setting up FP Armature line.
2002, First Shipment of ECU & FP TO TKM (Toyota Kirloskar Motors)
Indian Automotive Policy Reform by Govt.
2002, Policy Reform announcement by government of India as a truly globally competitive economy - make India an international hub, Develop Safety & Environment standards at par with international. This provided a very big opportunity for DENSO to demonstrate its capability to customer for becoming regulation compliant.

2003. Zero Emission Achieved by DNHA Plant-I
Committed to becoming Environmental Leader by establishing ‘Best Practices’: DNHA setup strong Waste Management Systems to ensure 3R (Reduce, Recycle and Re-Use) of all waste generated, especially safe management of Hazardous wastes and became 100% compliant to declare ‘Zero’ emission on 19th December 2003.
