DNIN remained determined to seize new opportunities and keep its spirit high, and immediately embarked on rebuilding, started sowing seeds that would ultimately benefit all of us. We adopted an “optimum result approach” and gave us the directives of 3Cs – Change, Challenge and Creative.

In the year 1999, exclusive training section established by DENSO India to change the mindset of associates, develop challenging and creative outlook. Structured training imparted in Attitude, Self-motivation, Teamwork and other Skill improvement areas with a fully equipped Training Center.

With the advent of global players, our world-famous customers started demanding higher quality products. It was an era of competition and challenge. To increase productivity to the satisfaction of the customer, DNIN started a wide range of innovative ways to enhance operations and methods to implement change.

Kaizen
We believed in innovative thinking, so a new Kaizen section was established. Every associate was encouraged to make small improvements in his workmanship, which was duly recognized. This generated a feeling of active participation in cost reduction and time management exercises.

2000, First time participation and winner of 3 regionals and one Bronze Medal in National Works Skill Competition organized by CII

Introduction of T.I.E (Total Industrial Engineering) concept, followed by Introduction of T.P.M. (Total Productivity Maintenance) in 2001, which led to: TKM outstanding performance award to DNIN in 2000.
