Thermal Design Centre Established

In the brisk January of 2011, DENSO India marked a pivotal moment with the initiation of Air Conditioning application services, with the establishment of a Joint venture with partner to form DENSO SUBROS Thermal Engineering Centre (DSEC). Laying the foundation for a remarkable journey ahead. The strategic move aimed at establishing application services for both OGC including DIAM and DNJP, and IGC, namely DNKI and partner Subros.

As the calendar flipped to 2012, DSEC introduced its cutting-edge DENSO system/tools, imparting invaluable knowledge to elevate design skills. The subsequent year, April 2013, witnessed a significant milestone with the establishment of Thermal Engineering Application Services, focusing on HVAC and ECM.

September 2013 marked a transformative phase as DSEC extended its Application Design support to DNHA 2nd Plant at Jhajjar, catering specifically to HONDA India. This move, coupled with the introduction of three shifts at DSEC for CAD services, exemplified DSEC's commitment to shortening development cycles through concurrent engineering for DIAM.

In March 2014, DSEC achieved a constant quality rating above 4.0 for DIAM's CAD services, showcasing a relentless pursuit of excellence. The subsequent year, June 2015, witnessed the expansion of application services to another OGC, DNDE, reinforcing DENSO's commitment to broader industry collaboration.

July 2015 marked a significant enhancement in local design capabilities, further solidifying DENSO's footprint in India. The year 2016 saw the establishment of a seamless communication flow for consignment job business in engineering between DNJP and DTJP, fostering collaborative innovation.

Achieving B-rank authority in ECM as per DNJP DSS Guidelines in 2017 underscored DSEC's commitment to stringent quality standards. The year 2018 witnessed a dual focus on local design capability enhancement and the establishment of a radiator ECM manufacturing facility at Subros, reflecting DENSO's dedication to expanding technological horizons.

May 2019 brought a substantial boost as DSEC strengthened its application (simulation) services introduction to DNDE. A momentous occasion on May 16th 2019, marked the evolution from a Limited Company to the officially named DENSO Subros Thermal Engineering Centre India Private LTD.

The evolution of DSEC epitomizes DENSO's unwavering commitment to technological innovation, collaborative excellence, and pioneering joint ventures that redefine industry standards.
