Japanese School of Manufacturing (JIM) is Recognized by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry

DENSO India Ltd. (Uttar Pradesh, hereinafter DNIN) announced today that it has been certified "Japanese Style Manufacturing School (JIM: Japan-India Institute for Manufacturing)" status by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry

On 8 July 2024, Mr. Yasuhiro Iida, CEO of India region attended the certificate of accreditation ceremony at the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Tokyo, JAPAN.
Based on the "Manufacturing Skill Transfer Promotion Program" agreed to by the leaders of Japan and India, the "Japanese-Style School of Manufacturing" accredits and supports human resource development institutions established by Japanese companies operating in India.

DNIN established (DENSO JIM) in April 2024, and 300 trainees have entered the program.
During the two-year education period, students learn basic manufacturing skills through the concepts and practices of Japanese manufacturing such as "5S", "Kaizen" and "Atarimae". After graduation, students will gain a year of practical experience at a DNIN plant, with the aim of training and employing them as future leadership candidates in the manufacturing field.
