Establishment of Nippondenso (M) Sdn. Bhd.

The humble beginning of DENSO Malaysia can be traced back to April 1980, when a joint venture between DENSO Corporation, Japan and a local partner, where it was called Nippondenso Malaysia then.

1983

DENSO Malaysia reached another milestone with the launched of DENSO new Bus Air-condition Model LD8-I by Deputy Finance Minister.

2007

Environment Award from Selangor State Government

DENSO Malaysia received the Selangor State Environment award from the Chief Minister. This award was given as a recognition to industries for effort towards environmental protection and preservation.

2009

Prime Minister's Hibiscus Award

DENSO Malaysia won the highest environment award of the country. The award was given by Government to industries for meeting stringent environment requirement; domestic and global.

2011 & 2013

DENSO EF (Efficient Factory) Activity Award: Excellent Plant Asia & Australia

Thermal Systems and Electronics Plant of DENSO Malaysia were selected from Asia and Australia region to receive the award in 2011 and 2013 respectively.

DENSO Malaysia was awarded the DENSO President Award for Outstanding Performance. The award is a recognition given to DENSO affiliate companies for extraordinary contribution and high accomplishments.

DENSO Malaysia mark another new achievement by winning the National Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Excellence Award 2018 under category Employer Excellence for Commuting Safety Management.
