DENSO’s NaviBridge App, compatible with over 1,000 navigation systems, designed to enable drivers to focus on the road

Oct. 9, 2020

Amsterdam, The Netherlands | 09 October 2020 – Driving a car has never been easier, with the latest version of DENSO Corporation’s maps and navigation app, NaviBridge, which is now compatible with more than 1,000 car navigation systems.

NaviBridge (also known as NaviCon in Japan) is designed to enable users to share searched locations on their smartphones with car navigation systems with a single touch, allowing drivers to focus on what matters the most – the road ahead.

DENSO first developed NaviBridge in 2008 for DENSO’s own car navigation systems. In 2012, DENSO began supplying the app to car navigation developers. Fast forward to 2020, NaviBridge is now compatible with 1,026 car navigation systems, 25 million of which are on roads today and available across 58 countries worldwide. The app can be downloaded free in both Android and iOS versions.

In June 2020, DENSO released the NaviBridge 6.0, featuring an updated and redesigned user interface, as well as the ability to share location information with other users. With this new feature, users can easily share their favorite sports and travel destinations with friends and family.

DENSO will continue to make updates to NaviBridge that reflect people’s lifestyles and mobility needs, while offering greater safety, comfort and well-being.
