PUSHING THE LIMITS: BATTLING EXTREME CONDITIONS TO DOMINATE MOTORSPORTS

Amsterdam, The Netherlands | 17 May 2023 – After winning a one-two victory in the 1000 Miles of Sebring, the opening round of the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) season, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing team and technology experts will be featured in a LIVE event hosted by DENSO on the DENSO Europe YouTube Channel on May 25th, 2023 at 14:30 CET.

During the event, the speakers will talk about DENSO technologies, such as the Hybrid ECU, Motor Generator, and Inverter, which were helped TOYOTA GAZOO Racing become one of the circuit’s most successful teams, contributing five consecutive wins in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Viewers will also get a sneak peek at the new and upgraded version of the Toyota GR010 Hybrid hypercar.

TOYOTA GAZOO Racing’s #7 racing drivers, Mike Conway and José María López, will participate in this event, where they will talk about the thrill of the race and the team’s preparation, goals, and aspirations for the 100th Anniversary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Joining them will be expert speakers from DENSO and TOYOTA GAZOO Racing, who will share their knowledge and expertise about the technologies that power one of the most exciting motorsports.

Aimed at motorsport fans worldwide, this collaboration also celebrates the outstanding partnership between DENSO and the Toyota racing team since 1965 and the 50-year milestone since DENSO first entered the European market.
