Participated in the Singapore Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) project to produce in-vehicle electronic toll collection devices

The project was jointly developed by a consortium comprising Toyota Motor Corporation, NTT International, Teledata and DENSO Corporation (previously known as Nippondenso).

1995

DENSO International Singapore Pte., Ltd. is established.

DISP’s main scope is to manage regional business activities in aftermarket sales, service and marketing.

1997

DISP won our first contract from Singapore Bus Services (SBS) to manufacture air-conditioner units for 50 double-deck buses.

The contract allowed us to develop our strength and presence in the bus air conditioner unit industry in Singapore.

1998

DENSO International Asia Pte. Ltd. (DIAS), the holding company with headquarter functions, is established.

The office is also relocated to a larger office space a year later, to The Aries, Science Park II, where we are currently.

2000

The third Materials Technical Centre (MTC) of DENSO Corporation is established in Singapore.

2001

A joint-venture manufacturing company in Saudi Arabia between Abdul Latif Jameel Co. Ltd and DENSO International Asia Pte. Ltd. is established.

The entity is currently known as DENSO Saudi Arabia.

2004

DENSO Singapore Training Center (DSTC) is established.

Management and technical skills training are conducted in-house for dealers and associates from DENSO affiliates in the region.

2016

DENSO Wave Singapore Pte., Ltd. is established.
