Headquarter and Holding Company for the region
DENSO INTERNATIONAL ASIA PTE. LTD. (DIAS) was formed in December 1998 with an initial capital of S$115m. This holding company and Regional Support Center with Headquarter functions assists the Regional Group Companies in functions such as import and export of regional complementation products and centralized Forex and fund management. The latter would help reduce regional financial costs and help complement the Group's efforts to risk management.
On further expansion in our role as a Regional Headquarter, in 2003, a new function was setup in Singapore to provide operation support and strategic counsel to the Regional Group Companies for Aftermarket business. A Regional Logistics Center function was also instituted to centralize the distribution of automotive parts within the region for more efficient inventory control and planning.
