DMTN’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) focuses on four areas: community, education, diversity and environment. Here at DENSO, we partner with many organizations around the region to support these four elements.

DENSO’s dedication and support of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) learning is prominent within the community. DMTN funds local school programs, including robotics teams and other STEM programs. DMTN also established the Richard Williams, Jr. Leadership Development Academy, an initiative that helps middle and high school students build the skills needed to take us all into the future.

We’ve partnered with Keep Blount Beautiful (KBB) to create EcoPark, DMTN’s biggest environmental education tool. Local students and families can visit EcoPark to learn more about recycling, compositing and how to prevent pollution. DMTN is focused on storm-water pollution prevention and has designed an area at EcoPark to detain and gradually clean storm-water from rooftops, parking lots and roads.

DENSO Manufacturing Tennessee, Inc. (DMTN) is one of the region’s largest employers. Located near the economic, cultural and education center of the region, Knoxville, the facility is also close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The DENSO Family Health Center can be utilized by full-time associates and their dependents (2+ and older) covered by a DENSO medical plan. The facility has 11 exam rooms, a procedure room, on-site lab services and a full-service pharmacy.

The DENSO Fitness Center has exercise equipment, an aerobics room, a gym and tennis courts, and is open 24/7 for associates and their spouses.
