Ford Motor Company Honors DENSO with World Excellence Award for Smart Technology

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., June 26, 2017 – DENSO International America, Inc. received a coveted Smart Technology Award for its Electric Hybrid Vehicle (EHV) Inverter business at Ford Motor Company’s19th Annual World Excellence Awards.

Ford Motor Company’s World Excellence Awards annually honor automotive suppliers that exceed the company’s highest standards in quality, cost, performance and delivery. Fifty-seven companies were selected as part of this year’s awards from a pool of thousands of global suppliers. DENSO was one of four suppliers recognized in the Smart Brand Pillar.

Ford Motor Company honors top-performing global automotive suppliers based on a variety of categories, including:

Honorees were recognized at the 19th annual Ford World Excellence Awards ceremony at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan in May.
