PT DENSO Indonesia’s 50th Anniversary Celebration
"A 50-Year Journey Toward a Sustainable Future"
PT DENSO Indonesia (DNIA) marked its 50th anniversary in 2025, celebrating a remarkable journey that began when the company was founded in 1975. From modest beginnings, DNIA has grown into a leading player in Indonesia’s automotive parts industry, built on a long-standing commitment to innovation, quality, and the trust of its stakeholders. As part of the anniversary program, DNIA held a special stakeholder event in Jakarta on July 1, 2025. The gathering brought together key partners, including representatives from the Ministry of Industry, customers, and suppliers. Mr. Toshihide Ono, President Director of DNIA, opened the event by highlighting the company’s contributions to the growth of Indonesia’s automotive industry, human resource development, and social engagement. He also spoke about the increasingly complex challenges ahead in today's VUCA (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) era. In the welcome remarks, Mr. Hamdhani, representing Astra Otoparts, stressed the importance of sustaining the business while upholding integrity and collaboration. Representing the Ministry of Industry, Mr. Setia Diarta commended DNIA’s efforts to strengthen the national supply chain, including its collaboration with 106 local suppliers, 26 percent of which are MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises). After the main ceremony, guests visited DNIA’s plants in Bekasi and Fajar. There, Mr. Shigeki Inuzuka, Senior Executive Officer of DENSO Corporation, and Mr. Hayashi planted trees in a symbolic gesture of the company's commitment to sustainability. They also held a dialogue with DNIA’s national talent to support the development of future leaders. Entering a new chapter, DNIA remains committed to shaping the future of mobility in Indonesia. With growing digital capabilities and a global outlook, the company is not only building automotive parts but also creating new opportunities and hope for the generations to come.
Mr. Shinnosuke Hayashi, President and CEO of DENSO Corporation, praised DNIA's production quality and its commitment to developing local talent.
