DENSO Indonesia continues to show a strong commitment to developing education in Indonesia as part of its social responsibility. Through the National Apprenticeship Program, the company puts the Link and Match concept into practice, connecting education with industry in collaboration with the Ministry of Manpower. The program is designed to give students hands-on work experience while sharpening skills that match the needs of business. Graduates are expected to be better prepared for the challenges of the workplace and able to contribute more effectively.
As a concrete step, in October 2025 DENSO Indonesia recruited 20 apprenticeship participants from universities across Indonesia through the National Apprenticeship Program. During the program, participants take part in employee training and receive guidance from professional mentors, giving them relevant and valuable work experience.
On November 7, 2025, DENSO Indonesia hosted an official visit by Prof. Yassierli, Minister of Manpower, accompanied by Mr. Teddy Indra Wijaya, Cabinet Secretary. The visit was held to review the implementation of the National Apprenticeship Program Batch I. On that occasion, Prof. Yassierli stressed the importance of apprenticeships as a way for fresh graduates to learn more complex, multidisciplinary work practices. Mr. Teddy added that the program gives participants the chance to gain direct experience at a major company, so they are better prepared to compete in the job market.
Through this program, DENSO Indonesia demonstrates its commitment to supporting education and human resource development. The initiative is expected to strengthen the link between education and industry, while supporting the government’s vision of improving the quality of Indonesia’s workforce.
