Mr.Tatsuaki Hiratani, Vice President of Siam DENSO Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (SDM) presided over the activity “SDM & SKD Open House for Community #2”. There were 26 participants from 15 organizations, including customers, government offices, communities, and other companies in the vicinity of SDM & SKD attending the event. The objectives of this activity are as follows:

• To strengthen the relationship between the companies, government agencies, communities, and other companies in the vicinity. 
• To communicate the companies’ environmental management and corporate social responsibilities activities.
• To communicate about progress of the power plant construction project as well as preventive and countermeasure plan for environmental impact during the construction phase.
• To create a chance for receiving opinions and suggestions from outside company for developing companies’ environmental management activity.
• To visit the environmental preservation and community economic development project at Wat Ban Kao School.

The activity was continuously conducted in order to further develop the companies’ environmental performance by improving based on outside opinions and suggestions leading to development as well as sustainable living in harmony with their society.
