

Siam DENSO Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (SDM) today announced that it will build an additional plant at AMATA CITY CHONBURI in Chonburi province, Thailand, to increase capacity of fuel injection system production of the ASEAN region. The company will invest about THB 1,215 million by 2020 to build the new plant and expand production. The project will start in April 2019 and will be completed in February 2020. Production will begin in September 2020 in stages. The space will increase to around 23,900 square meters.
Siam DENSO Manufacturing Co., Ltd. opened in 2002; the third largest production bases in the world for Common Rail System (CRS), and the first in Thailand, currently manufacture common rail system for diesel engine, injector and pump for gasoline engine. The additional plant will manufacture fuel injection system products which aim to serve as the ASEAN Group production base in Thailand, and will improve its capability to meet customer needs.
