Employee Spotlight: Beth Russell, Product Launcher and Women Supporter

  • Beth Russell

Q: Describe your role and proudest achievement at DENSO.

A: I’m a program leader within the Program Management Office at DENSO’s thermal manufacturing facility in Battle Creek, Michigan. In this role, I lead inter-department teams in launching new thermal products for our North American customers. My proudest achievement is the relationships I’ve built during almost 25 years at DENSO.

Q: You're also part of the DENSO Women's Network (DWN) in Battle Creek. Can you explain what this team does?

A: DWN works to promote and support women at DENSO, personally, professionally, and within the community. We have held resume and interview workshops, supported STEM events, raised funds for women’s shelters, and provided a mentor program open to everyone who is looking to grow at DENSO in Battle Creek. We want DENSO to become an employer of choice for women.

Q: March is Women's History Month. What does it mean to you?

A: Women’s History Month is a time to celebrate women through all of their accomplishments and diversity.  For me, it is a time to reflect on the women in my life who have supported or inspired me to be the person I am today.  It is a time to celebrate this part of who I am and be a support to others.
