The Beginning
In the annals of DENSO's journey in India, the genesis of DIIN (DENSO International India Pvt. Ltd.) stands as a pivotal moment. It all began in July '99 when DENSO India commenced its operations, initially functioning as a Sales Office dedicated to managing sales activities with customers.
Foundation of DIIN as a regional Head Quarter
It was in 2010 that DIIN truly came into its own with its establishment as the Regional Headquarters for DENSO in India. As the years progressed towards 2015, a transformative shift occurred in DENSO's business landscape. Recognizing the immense potential of the Indian market, DENSO embarked on a journey of expansion and reorganization. DIIN underwent a significant metamorphosis, transitioning into the Regional Centre for India Group Companies. This restructuring saw the centralization of operations, marking a strategic move towards efficiency and synergy.
One of the key milestones in this transformation was the establishment of new Division ‘Production Innovation’, which included the main responsibility for setup of DNHA Plant 2. This expansion not only bolstered DENSO's production capabilities but also positioned DIIN as a pivotal hub for providing services to Indian Group Companies (IGCs). The centralization of functional departments further solidified DIIN's role as a Regional Hub, facilitating seamless support to IGCs across various domains.

In 2012, DIIN underwent a physical relocation, moving from Gurgaon to Manesar into a new, independent office space. This move symbolized DENSO's commitment to growth and innovation, providing DIIN with a conducive environment to thrive as the Regional Headquarters.
Moreover, 2012 witnessed the establishment of a crucial entity within DIIN: The India Technical Center. This facility underscored DENSO's dedication to excellence through its advanced Research and Development activities aimed at supporting Indian Customers to become regulation compliant and more, through its technical expertise.
The establishment of India Service Centre by enhancing skill levels and providing training support to dealers, thereby reinforcing DIIN's stature as a central hub for service excellence.
