Yasushi Matsui is representative member of the board and executive vice president of DENSO Corporation, headquartered in Kariya, Aichi, Japan.

He is also CRO (Chief Risk Officer), CFO (Chief Financial Officer), and in charge of Corporate Strategy Center and Group Companies of Japan.

Matsui graduated from Nagoya University with an Law degree. In 1987, he joined DENSO Corporation (formerly Nippondenso Co., Ltd.) . He began his career in the 3rd Planning Division, where he worked on the business planning of car A/C and bus A/C. In 2006, he was transferred to Denso Manufacturing Czech s.r.o. and led the business expansion and competitiveness enhancement of car A/C in Europe as a head of business planning division.

After returning to Japan, he became general manager of EHV Planning Division in 2010, and contributed to establish the business foundation for future growth of electrification products. In June 2014, he was appointed to executive director and supervised procurement function, where he led the supply-chain strengthening. Since 2016, he has been responsible for corporate planning and corporate strategy division. He led the formulation of long-term management policy and the development/promotion of management strategies to realize the great cause of DENSO's corporate activities, such as "Green" and "Peace of mind", and also made efforts to enhance corporate value as CFO.

Then he was promoted to senior executive officer in April 2019, and member of the board of directors and senior executive officer in June 2021, and representative member of the board and executive vice president in June 2023.
