Inquiries and comments regarding DENSO products [Japan]
The overall number of inquiries and comments regarding DENSO products decreased in fiscal 2021.
We introduced a new framework to provide accurate and uniform answers to customers whenever they have a question. This new framework has helped increase the percentage of customers resolving inquiries on their own and has significantly reduced the number of operator responses.

Initiatives for improving employee satisfaction [DENSO Corporation]
Employee awareness survey
-
Every year, we implement a workplace empowerment survey to assess the level of engagement and satisfaction at each office and promote improvements geared toward establishing a sound organizational culture that facilitates open communication.
Welfare program
-
DENSO has been employing a selection-based welfare program called the DENSO Cafeteria Plan since 2007. Under this program, employees (including full-time and temporary employees) are allotted points in advance and receive benefits from the Company using these points for a wide variety of items in a set menu (including travel, dining, and nursing care).
-
DENSO also offers recreational facilities, apartments for single employees, cafeterias, and other facilities, as well as an asset building assistance program and a Group insurance program.
Companywide sports festival
-
Every autumn, a Companywide sports festival is held where teams representing their respective areas (factories) compete to be No. 1 in the Company. In fiscal 2020, a total of approximately 22,000 people took part. This event was cancelled in fiscal 2021 in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
