Environmental Initiatives

We aim to become a corporate group that contributes to the creation of an advanced mobility society by achieving both “the preservation of the global environment and sustainable business growth.” To realize this vision, we promote “environmental management” that not only reduces environmental impact across all areas of our business activities — including products and manufacturing — but also creates economic value through environmental conservation initiatives.

As a long-term commitment to the environmental management, we establish an “Eco Vision” every ten years.
Following the completion of “Eco Vision 2025,” and in response to changes in the business environment and evolving social expectations, we formulated Eco Vision 2035 as our vision for the next decade. Under “Eco Vision 2035,” we aim not only to minimize environmental impact, but also to become a company that delivers “positive environmental value” by helping improve the environment itself. Across the three key areas of climate change (carbon neutral), resource circulation (circular economy), and harmony with nature (nature positive), we will simultaneously advance initiatives to “expand neutrality,” “foster positive impact,” and “develop people and partnerships.”
By integrating these initiatives, we seek to go beyond reducing environmental impact and generate new environmental value for society.
