Products
Overall Concept
It is essential that the product photography visually matches what we want to say about the product. The most important feature of our products is their high quality and the care that goes into production. To represent them, all product images and photos must be high-quality and beautiful. Carefully plan the lighting to create highlights, shadows, and rich mid-tones. There are two categories of product photography.
Catalog Images
Product photos introduce the company, with multiple products side by side. The goal is to create a simple yet beautiful photographic expression.
Heroic Images
Product photos highlight specific products, for use on websites for product PR. The goal is to maximize the product's appeal through creative expression.
Catalog Images
Concept
When a large number of products are placed on the same page, consistency and harmony will lend an impression of high quality. To create a uniform impression, be aware of the same viewpoint, angle, light, and shadows/reflections.

Guidelines
Optimal Angle
The product is placed at an angle so that two sides and the top are visible. An oblique upward camera angle is optimal.
Uniform Illumination
To achieve uniform highlights, shadows, and reflections, the lighting method should be consistent across all products.
Background Colors
Products should have either a white or black background.
Front View
Take photos of your products straight on from the front, sides, or top, and use uniform lighting settings. This will help create a uniform impression.
Heroic Images
Concept
Be creative with your product photography, heroic images should suit your purpose. There are no set rules, as long as you keep the photo clean, simple, and crisp in its overall composition. How you represent a product should be inspired by the features and functions it has.

Materials
For products where a particular material is an important element of its function, it is a good idea to use that material as a background. -

A change in the color of the background indicates a change in the air passing through the filter.
Bold Graphics
-
Background graphic to emphasize the shape of the product.
-
Shadows to emphasize the shape of the product.
Handheld
If the product will be used by people, the photography should show the relationship. Also, if the scale is important (such as small-sized products), placing the product in a model's hands can be effective.
-
The color for the background should be selected from the corporate colors, after considering product compatibility.
-
Scale
Emphasize scale by holding the product by hand.
Emphasize Materials and Textures
Emphasize the texture of the product by shooting in a simple environment.
