Overall Concept
Creating graphics that allow people to empathize with the story created by DENSO is essential.
Situations should be realistic, like a slice of daily life.
If the situation looks too much like science fiction, it becomes too removed from the viewer's life and they will not be able to relate to it.
Ensure that the settings and actions of the people in the photos are familiar to you and give a positive impression.
The spirit in the images feels:
-
Truthfulness, reality
-
With a contemporary feel
-
Sustainable
-
Positive
-
People-centric
Combining multiple photos creates a story. A few sample patterns are shown on the following pages.

Guidelines
Ample Open Space
Be aware of the open space in a picture. It makes what you want to say clearer. Too many elements in a photo can make it difficult to tell the story when using a combination of photos.
-
Creating Open Space
Put importance on the open space in the photos. This example shows how the white background works as open space. -
Cropping
Use cropping to create areas of large margins.
Color Management
Keep your color scheme consistent when taking photos. Be mindful that there are no obtrusive colors in the foreground or background. The color of the model's clothes should also match the color scheme. When taking multiple photos at once, keep the color scheme consistent across all photos to create a consistent impression.
-
Narrow Down the Range of Colors
This sample is simple and focused because the colors have been narrowed down. The models are dressed to match the color and interior of the car, creating a sense of unity. -
Color Scales
The model's clothing matches the surrounding blue and green hues.
Clear Focus
A shallow depth of field makes the message clearer.
-
Foreground Blur
A blurred foreground emphasizes the focus point of the photo. -
Blurred Background
Blurring out the cluttered background directs your eye to the focus point.
Natural Elements
Try to include natural elements whenever possible. Include elements such as landscapes, green plants in urban environments, trees, water, sky, etc., as well as reflections or shadows from sunlight coming through windows to create an indirect sense of nature.
-
