Introduction
Typefaces act as the narrator. They embody the passion and ability to take on the challenges of the future that the logo represents. Our typefaces are confident, expressive, modern, and open-minded, and represent the attitude of DENSO.
Corporate Fonts
The corporate font is made up of two styles, DENSO font and DENSO Sans font, each including eight different weights. DENSO font is a typeface with distinctive serifs. The DENSO Sans font is sans serif and is primarily used for captions and infographics (charts, tables, data, etc.).
Uses
Use these fonts in disseminating corporate information: for example, company brochures (printed or pdf), corporate websites, exhibitions, events, etc.
*The use of these fonts is not mandatory for PowerPoint, Word, etc., which are used daily by employees.

DENSO TP 2017 is the alternative corporate font used for all communication in Japanese. The DENSO typefaces do not support Japanese.

Noto sans CJK SC
Noto sans CJK SC is set as the alternate corporate font for use in all communications in Chinese. This font is an open font jointly developed by Google and Adobe. Adobe retains the copyright of the typeface design, but the font is released under the SIL Open Font License and may be used freely. The font can be used free of charge in any domain, including print and digital, when sending out information about products, projects, and company introductions. Commercial use is also permitted.

Use these fonts in disseminating corporate information: for example, company brochures (printed or pdf), corporate websites, exhibitions, events, etc.
*In the above media, the generic font SimHei is available for use, but it is better to use Noto sans CJK SC since it can create a modern and open DENSO brand feel.
*The use of these fonts is not mandatory for PowerPoint, Word, etc., which are used daily by employees.

Use of Noto sans CJK SC alphanumeric characters is allowed in combination with DENSO fonts. Please check the weight matching table below and combine fonts appropriately.

For devices that do not have corporate fonts installed, please use the specified generic fonts. These are all fonts included in Microsoft® Office applications. In a situation where DENSO fonts are disabled (e.g. outside lecture halls), use the generic fonts to avoid garbled characters.
